Venezuelan-Canadian, Claudia Molina has created short films as writer-director. She has also worked as a writer for a new animated Television series for children, titled Mixed-Nutz (comedy, ages 6-9) and produced by Big Bad Boo Studio in Vancouver. Claudia has completed a BA in Creative Writing and Spanish Literature at the University of British Columbia (2002 - 2004). She was also a director resident at The Canadian Film Centre (2004), where she made her award-winning short film, Red Velvet Girls (2005). She adapted Red Velvet Girls into a feature length screenplay with funding from the Harold Greenberg Fund, BC Film, and Telefilm Canada (2005 - 2007). Through this adaptation Claudia learned much about Vampire lore and the creation of original mythologies.
