What is it about anime that makes you really interested?
Well, I think that anime is interesting in their plots. The plots are interesting and they are plots that can happen in real life but they happen in moving flipping paper. I find it intrigueing.

i find manga and anime absolutely amazing in the way the characters are drawn and animated. Unlike marvel comics and the like, manga is so much more graceful and artistic! I love it! ( i may also point out that i like manga cos it's from japan, and i am currently studying the language!)
I like Anime because it treats cartoons as just another way of telling a story. There are things your mind can accept while watching a cartoon that it won't if you're watching live action which opens up different possibilties (the same thing happens with books or comic books/manga). And American cartoons are biased as being only for kids so end up either completely aimed at a 12 or under audience, or extreamly graphic just to prove it's not for kids with very little in between. And I really like the simplified art style... much harder to draw than it looks ;)
