Back in the mid-late nineties they used to show anime movies on Saturday Mornings on the Sci-Fi channel. And not Pokemon or what you'd expect. They showed Vampire Hunter D, Akira, Tank Police, Demon City, etc: really violent animes, some with sex and most of it wasn't censored, especially crazy for that time slot! lol how did they get away with that..
Yeah I remember the 90's. That was way back when parents didn't care what their kids watched. I remember seeing Akira for the first time on Sci-fi. It took me years to find out what the movie was called because I started watching it halfway through.
That is one of the reasons I got into anime. I remember watching Vampire Hunter D, Ninja Scroll, Bubblegum Crisis and many others. I started renting other movies and series after that and i grew to love anime.
Any1 remember Sci-fi channel Saturday Anime?
