is anime weird?
I personally "love" anime,but there r ppl that don't,so what r they interested in?cuz I ask what else is there 4 me other than anime?does liking anime make u a nerd or a freaky person?cuz in my school I rarely see ppl that like anime?or do they put on an act that they don't like it?what do YOU think of anime?

i love anime. no doubt about it. but many people that i know havent even heard the word anime. i get so frustrated. i think there should be at least one tv channel in every country that shows only anime. lol. but now back to the case many of the people that i know call me a nerd cause i watch almost just anime. not all the other sh.. lol.
there are some poeple in my school that love anime like me,so we'er all friends,but what I hate is the so called "popular" people all don't like anime and call all anime lovers "nerds," when they never really tryed anime,I call that being stuborn don't you think?
well i really don't care what ppl think. i like anime and well that doesn't make you a nerd. me and my friends from time to time talk about anime and enjoy talking about it and sometimes ppl join us in the conversation and it goes on and on from there.
I think that watching anime shows that we have great imaginations and a craving for fantasy. There is only so much that can be put into film and real-life TV, so when it comes to anime, you get what is called "artistic license". Because it is animated, the artist may do what he wishes, as it isn't real and doesn't involve real people. You get situations that couldn't even be possible on earth, so artistic license allows the creators imagination to run free. I like anime because I like my mind and imagination wander and I like to imagine myself in those situations. It is an escape from real life.
Well I'd just like to say to tokigami, that I am one of those so called "popular" people. You can be popular and like anime at the same time. Its true though, that most ppl don't know that I like anime... but that's not the point, the point is that the "popular" people could like anime and you would never know. They could just be trying to protect their reputation, like myself, so don't think that all "popular" people are arrogant or stubborn.
