Looking around at all these people, the only one I see is you. Sometimes I think that it should be someone else here, In this love with you, instead of me. I dont deserve all the attention youve given, I don't know why you chose me. I cant understand that even with all the beauty around me, why you didnt choose one of them. But yet in a way it makes me happy, whenever I'm with you. You tell me I'm pretty, You look in my eyes. And everything else fades away I dont have to worry, because youll always be there. Just like i have always dreamed. When everything else goes up in smoke, youll be by my side, because you said so, and i believed you.

The way you look at me, makes me smile. You can see it in my eyes. My face lights up and it gets hard to breathe. My world is spinning, its no more round, my feet arent even touching the ground. When I'm with you, the world goes away, and I get the feeling that youre here to stay. I don't want you to leave, Please don't go. Without you in my life, my heart becomes a black hole

in trying times of death and dying, spacemen flying to extremes, lights gyrating, spasmic chaos, oblivion is transpiring. will add more of it later...b

I like the way we make eye-contact and hold it for too long. I like the way you smile and tease and make me laugh over the smallest things. I am constantly thinking of you. And when i do, i get butterflies, like i'm on a thrill ride. That's what it is for me. So I keep riding this roller coaster,looking for the end, and hoping that there isn't one. but its never the same. Everyday, the intensity gets worse, but instead of pushing you away, i only want to pull you closer. Savoring our every second together, riding it over again. Soon i will go broke, with no money left to ride, with nothing left but thoughts of you, and all that we've been through. I wrote this poem just in case you didn't feel the same, So you can know i spoke the truth, and exactly how i feel. This poem, i wrote for you.-Amanda Smith
