Mine was Dragon ball. From then on it was nothing but sunshine!
I also loved my neighbor totoro! I watched it almost every single day when I was a kid. Then it went from sailor moon) , to pokemon, to cardcaptor sakura, and next thing you know I fell in love with anime! I remembered thinking when I was a younger that anime was just so great because it had comedy, action, romance and everything else in it that american cartoons just didn't have. ^ ^
My first anime was totoru too, though at the time i didn't realize it was an anime and i watched it in the little kids TV area at IKEA. After that it was cardcaptor sakura which i found on TV before (english dub though since i watched the sub version and its a little different) and i also didn't realize at the time it was an anime. The first that i watched knowing it was an anime was Naruto
