there's a lot out there so it's best to narrow down the search with a little of your own preferences (looking for comedy/romance/action/sci-fi/ect..). Anyways, a couple of my favs atm are Solty Rei (sci-fi/comedy/drama), Zero no Tsukaima (fantasy/comedy/romance), Ghost in the Shell: SAC (sci-fi/action), Macross Frontier (sci-fi/action/drama), Wagaya no Oinari-sama (fantasy/comedy) and one that has just started getting me, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu (romance/comedy). Invites are easy enough ;)

Oh, and Death Note is pretty good.. Its about a genius high schooler who seeks to cleanse the world of crime and become the god of that world through a supernatural object called a Death Note. Pretty good anime, one of my favorites.
