With everyone on VEOH being from around the world and me only knowing english and a few words from other languages, I want to learn to speak to others from other places without it having to be in english only..................... anyone else?
let's try a phrase this time. how are you? = english
Genki desu ka in Japanese
Como tu estas
Come stai? <---italian Ni Hao Ma? 你好吗?<---chinese
Kamusta ka? ( ka-mus-ta ka) Tagalog-Filipino
como estas?=Spanish
How are you = 어떻게 지내세요? (oddohke jineaseyo?) = Korean [very polite] or 여즘은 어때요? (yojeumen oddeayo?) [polite] or 여즘 어때? (yojeum oddea?) [casual]
wie gehts dir? =german
Comment ça va? - french Mår du bra? - swedish (suggests that the person is fine in some sort of way, something like "are you okay", but not quite)
hebrew - ma shlom ha
Bạn khỏe không? Bạn ổn chứ? Bạn thế nào? ,etc. (Việt Nam)
