- Getting children off the streets "A child on the street is what we call a roofless and rootless kid," says Father Thomas Koshy. For the past 17 years, the Salesian priest has been working in southern India providing education, shelter, and better opportunities to India's growing number of street children. As this FRONTLINE/World Rough Cut report shows, many quickly become addicted to life on the street and find it hard to leave. http://www.pbs.org/frontlineworld/rough/2007/06/india_street_ch.html
