- Description
- The Northwood High School Wind Symphony performs Canterbury Chorale. Ben Case conducting. March 28, 2007. Irvine, Calif. // The composer, Jan Van der Roost (b. 1956), created this work inspired by a visit to the catherdral in Canterbury, England. Like other chorales, this work has four voice harmony, slow moving passages, and a polyphonic nature. Canterbury Chorale also has massive tutti passages that brings to mind the sounds of a majestic organ. (04/05/07)
