- Description
- author Henry Kroll discussed the early history of Earth. He said our planet was in a billion-year ice age, and it wasn't till a star in the Sirius system, with its heavy ultraviolet radiations, broke through the atmosphere that the Earth began to warm. Back in the age of dinosaurs, Earth's atmosphere was much thicker, and higher in oxygen, and there were giants with brains twice the size of humans who dwelled on the planet, he claimed. The moon, he noted, has only been in Earth's orbit for around 11,500 years, and was artificially brought here.
