- Description
- A unique entry for the Stanford Innovation Challenge 2008 in which teams had 4 days to create as much 'value' out of water bottles of any shape, size, colour and design as possible and then upload a clip of less than 3 minutes duration to YouTube. Value could be defined however each group wanted. We chose to create social and environmental value by appealing to the selfless side of the human psyche. WaterDonors.org is a revolutionary way to provide clean drinking water to the developing world: simply register for the service and save your own personal household water usage. For every 10 gallons of water you save, WaterDonors.org (a fictitious non-profit organisation) will donate one gallon of bottled water to OXFAM on your behalf (funds will be raised through corporate partnerships). By saving water, you can help save lives in the developing world! PLEASE ASK **EVERYONE YOU KNOW** TO WATCH THIS CLIP - THE MORE HITS WE GET, THE GREATER OUR CHANCE OF WINNING THE 'BEST MARKETING' PRIZE AT THE PRIZEGIVING ON WED 19TH NOVEMBER, THUS ENABLING US TO GET ACCESS TO VENTURE CAPITALISTS TO MAKE THIS A REALITY! LET'S START THE WATER REVOLUTION... Hiren Mulchandani Matthieu Rouif Sanjay Doraiswamy Harald Etschmaier Simon Plucinski @ Stanford University
