You know the Flash is such a tough character because itâs so hard to present him with a realistic threat. His ability to move as fast as he does means that he should be able to stop the crime, capture the bad guy, ad save all the bystanders before the villain can even blink. Geoff Johns has been the only writer in recent history to be able to do it well and this is not a Geoff Johns book. Alan Burnett does at least have the sense to make the challenge more about the powers themselves than the bad guys but the story is a little tired. The aging thing through the speed force. They dealt with it with Bart when he was sent back from the future, they just finished dealing with it for Wallyâs kids and now Wallyâs aging again. Theyâve cured it before and now theyâll cure it again. I was really hoping for a good Flash story because ...
