- Voting for the Worlds First Bird Dance-Off has started!.....and ENDED! (Jabba did not win, but thank you for all of your help) I'm hoping that you will take the time to vote for Jabba, or one of the other dancing birds. I know several of the birds in the contest and they are all adorable. You can vote once per day/per ip address. Voting runs from Sept 14 to ????. Please take a few moments to watch all 12 finalists and then choose your favorite. Voting will only take a moment each day and it will mean a great deal to all of the contestants. The prizes are wonderful and they will be awarding the top four birds, so every vote counts. The contest can be found at birdchannel.com. Here is a direct link. http://tinyurl.com/jabbadance Please do not hit the vote button until you have chosen the video of you favorite bird. ****** Two of our favorite African Grey's are also in the finals with Jabba. Ty and Poirrot. Ty is a great talker and he is really funny. His mother is also one of my dearest friends. This is one of my favorite videos... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mMoFs4McPMc Poirrot has one of my all time favorite videos on his channel. It is a must see. Romancing the spoon. You really should check it out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cyvMJddSdXQ I hope you enjoy the contest and all of the birdie dancers. And don't forget to vote again tomorrow! ;) ********** Parrot ownership is not an inexpensive or easy task. If you are interested in owning a parrot, please take the time to visit a rescue or shelter in your area. There are parrots in need of homes all over the world. You can save the life of one of these beautiful birds and make a life long friend at the same time. If a parrot is not right for you, please considering donating to your local rescue or shelter. They are always in need of support.
