- Description
- Angela Madsen and Scott Brown raced in the Bayada Regatta in Philadelphia on 8/23/08 before they left for the Paralympics in Beijing. The race was all doubles from different classes. Angela and Scott are in the Trunk and Arms Class, meaning they do not use their legs. The boat from PRPD (Philadelphia Rowing Program for the Disabled) was Travis, a male amputee, and Bruce, a visually impaired male, in the LTA class (Legs, Trunk and Arms). The Three Rivers Adaptive Rowing boat was Patty, a female amputee, and a visually impaired female rower (whose name currently escapes me and I don't have the program) who rowed LTA. The Bayada Regatta took place on the Schuylkill river in Philadelphia, PA on 08/23/08
