O'Brien, an antique book dealer for 60 years, who died Monday at Mercy Hospital. Mr. O'Brien, whosedeath was described by his daughter as cancer-related, was 85. Two daysbefore he died, Mr. O'Brien received the Maine Historical Society'sNeal W. Allen Jr. Award for preservation of state history.
