- Description
- London/PoK, 23 October, 2018:- A large number of Kashmiri activists gathered outside the Pakistan high commission in London to observe October 22 - the day on which Pakistan through trickery and brute force occupied the region of Kashmir in 1947. Hailing originally from the occupied territory, these activists who have relentlessly been fighting for the Kashmiri cause, shouted anti-Pak army and anti-Pak establishment slogans for they have suffered more than seven decades of colonial subjugation under Pakistan's misrule. They also raised pro-freedom slogans seeking independence from the clutches of Pakistan. Raged activists also asserted that the nefarious designs of Islamabad to keep the people of the region suppressed were still being carried aggressively.
