- Description
- Muzaffarabad, PoK, 16 October, 2018:- These rare visuals of policemen thrashing fellow policemen unfolded in the Muzaffarabad city of Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) as the latter carried out a demonstration against the government for not paying their salaries for months. Until a few weeks back, these men donning police uniform were protecting the civil rights of common people and safeguarding the Chinese workers and engineers engaged in constructing Neelum-Jhelum hydropower project. However, in a dramatic turn of events, they have now taken to the streets to fight their own battles after some of them were indiscreetly terminated while others were never paid for the duties they carried out.
