He wasn't trying to kill sasuke but he wasn't going easy on him either. He needed to see if sasuke was strong enough on his own. And sasuke either avoided or negated alot of itachi's attacks/jutsu. Your right about the tailed beasts but only if the holder of the tailed beast can control their beast or keep it from taking over. your right about neji, he had to work hard even with byakugan. That's a bloodline limit that does require serious training. Cause as we saw hinata was weak at first since she didn't train much. Sakon/Ukon had to work hard too.

Maybe. I just prefer ninja who get strong through their own hard work and ability like killerbee, sasori, hidan, and kakuzu. Not bloodline abilities like madara or itachi. Except for naruto, that guy is so freaking annoying. Although even with all those abilities itachi did have a hard time agianst sasuke. In the end he let sasuke win but throughout the battle he was getting beat up bad.

what are you talking about? That isn't normal genjustsu. It's all enhanced with his sharingan. He coulden't do genjutsu like that without it. In every battle we've seen itachi in in the series he's used sharingan. When he fought kurenai for example, if he didn't use his sharingan to save himself and negate her jutsu, he would have been killed then and there. He also used his mangekyou sharingan in order to defeat kakashi. Otherwise he probably would have lost if he didn't use it. He had to use sharingan to defeat his younger brother and he had to use it to save himself from being killed by jiraya. Without his sharingan he probably coulden't even defeat neji hyuuga.

In response to your comment you left on a naruto episode responding to me, Simply because hidan kicks ass isn't a reason to hate on him. Shikamaru got lucky agianst hidan. And keep in mind that hidan isn't dead. If there is any member of akatsuki that should be hated on it's itachi. The only reason he even got into akatsuki is because of his fucking sharingan. Itachi probably would have died before he even turned 10 without it. He sucks.
