An original screenplay by SirLaosson Dara, Into Darkness is a brilliant character-driven, horror drama with elements of a thriller all thrown into one. Still reeling from the recent death of his wife, new writer and bestselling author Allen Suttles takes off and move to a new city with his daughter, Verra. Verra starts her first day at her new high school where she is quickly outsided by the other students. The principal Arnold Ross thinks that it's a good idea that his son invites Verra to the yearly Carnival. That weekend Verra along with a group of teens adventure out to the mysteriously out of the way Carnival. When the patrons at the Carnival all seemingly disappers, and the city becomes abandon the group become lost in a shifting maze of changing distances, suffocating darkness, and thick rolling fog. Verra along with the others makes their way to the city. Where they start to find themself in a world full of creatures not of this world that stalk the darkness.
