Most translations from Japanese to English aren't always correct in these videos. Plus you must be tone deaf 'cause he's saying steady, would you be saying "study" if you were trying to balance off a wire? Use your head man. But all in all you're probably right that he's saying study in the Japanese version of course. But seeing is that i've only seen the dubbed I can't argue about it.
