Story is about a group of high school girls who are drawn to a park by red butterflies, where they meet a lady who tells them they had all died the day before, The rest of the series from there focuses on how the girls deal with the fact that they're dead and have to kill monsters in order to stay alive (kinda like in the anime Gantz)

one word of warning the story is pretty slow as it goes into each of the girls lives, as you see them develop and mature through the problems they deal with, so all in all Red Garden has very excellent storytelling, intresting shoujo artwork, and a pinch of everything from action, comedy, drama, and horror, even though I stated earlier that it might be a little slow at times I would still very highly recommend everyone watch this anime.

Dead lolis fighting monsters? Sounds good. Crossing Higurashi and Gantz.

Actually it's nothing like Higurashi and only similar storywise to Gantz as the girls have to fight in order to stay alive but odly enough the anime was made from the same director who made the Rozen Maiden series, and Kurenai, also to answer Yuki's question no I don't think they have it here on veoh anymore and it's actually hard to find streaming since it's owned by Gonzo, but if you don't mind downloading you can get the series here (http://www.freewebs.com/anime-stop/redgarden.htm)
