i don't give a damn what is the hottest anime in japan because just like this discussions says everyone tells you its great and all and when i watched one minute of that show i was already tired of it and just like they said ideas get old and everything needs to be put to rest and one piece is one of those things!!!

don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on one piece, I also watch it(still at the part where robin is captured) and luffy is always good for a few laughs like with champion the afro but I guess I'm getting tired of all the fighting shounen. If I got a dime or every time I heard a char say something like 'I will win this fight because I have more resolve' I woudnt be working anymore. A perfect good example of this is zoro. No matter how cut/beaten up he gets, he wil still win because 'I cannot lose here, I have a promise to become the greatest swordsman' like in the alabast arc with the steel dude. ugh. Ichigo is exactly the same way. just look at the fight with grimmjow. ironically,these are considered the best fights of these characters because ppl think at shows tt they are badass. I personally prefer fights with chars like lambo, sanji, shikamaru, ishida etc because you don't know what will happen making it somewhat refreshing

wow so comparing bleach with one piece wow. And yea one piece took ideas of the original db. Yes i agree with you that alot of shounen fights are pretty much alike. I can already see the fact that they been doing the same things. The reason why I hate on the other shounen is that thats what their mostly consist of. One piece fillers been funny and more fun than bleach / naruto in their prime. Yea one piece was boring every minute of the show. I used to feel the same way till I wanted to watch it. If you haven't even watched it 1/2 way you got no room to talk. Is like saying I hate mexican music when i don't know the meaning of their lyrics. So with saying just words to bash on one piece just shut your mouth. If you watch it in dubs please again shut your mouth. You really do look stupid. And also yea the fighting scenes weren't great after crocodile got beaten by luffy. Since some quality thing was added the fighting scenes weren't that great. Me and like a whole forum worth of people agree to it.

like I said I do not mean to offend you or bash on your opinion. One thing I totally agree on is the dubs. whatever you do,DON'T WATCH THEM!!! its one of the worst ever concieved. however, to claim I don't know what I'm talking about because im about 80 eps behind out of 380 is is bit strange imo. I have the sogeking theme set as ringtone to ilustrate am am quite familiar Also, it's BECAUSE there is a huge fanbase that there are a lot of ppl hating it and you should know this. ppl love to hate on anything popular, and one piece is no exception to this. as long as ppl dont get offensive, you should respect their point of view, otherwise you'll end up as a typical fanboy

Peter!!!! First of all saw more than damn one minute i was just say that because i didn't look at that much of the first episode i saw and i don't have to look at a second of a show to state my opinion on it nor do i or anyone has to shut their fuckin mouth!!! Secondly like i said before this discussion is about animes that we heard were good but are not as hyped up to be and all i was doing was saying which animes i thought were full of SHIT and i still think that One Piece is some dragged out SHIT. Since you love one piece so damn much your ass is going to defend it the same way other fanboy/fangirls do. Accept reality and realize that everyone aint gonna like the same animes.

sorry i meant to say that to fay. Your the one who saids you think one piece is overated. You act like you know what your talking about. You still think is overated. When you don't even know 90% of the story. I watched probably all the shows you had too. You think is dragged out, but it was suppose to end by now. The ending was suppose to be done now. Reason why it kept going, that is because everyone wanted it to keep it going(unlike bleach or naruto) Like kurowa was saying earliar op does have a huge fan base.

They compare dubs with subs from episode 1 to like 350. There is a site like that. Ya and also you think that theses shows are dragged like bleach and naruto. Not really the reason to people having the mind set "dragged out", is because the fillers are just retarded from bleach and naruto. 50 - 100 episodes straight with fillers. Comeon really? There is a big difference in dragging a few shows. Dragging out like naruto or bleach is bad, but op is still exceptional. Look at the fan base of naruto from after the 5th arc, and after soul society arc in bleach. It dropped immensely. Was one piece an anime that dropped anywhere in the show, because it turned stupid? No, there is a site called DLA.. Downloadanime.org.. When is up again go look in the forums. like 95% of the people there used to watch naruto/bleach. Probably has OLD written forum pages all over. You would know that they don't even watch that damn show no more. Yes they watch even more animations than I do. This is where i got my resources from.

Peter I'm tired of repeating myself again and again!!!! I know that one piece has a huge fan base and that a lot of people like that damn show and what you telling me i already know. What i'm saying is that the show is hyped up and when i watched the episode I did i thought the show was goofy & stupid , i didn't like how the charaters were drawn, I didn't understand the damn plot, and I knew that the show wasn't for me. This disuccsion for the hundredth time ask what show are overated and I thought one piece was very over rated and if you really want to go there about websites that love one piece that HATE one piece I can send you links to about 3 or 4 blogs and discussions about how overated the damn show is.
