Hurricane Katrina (The Good, The Bad, The Ugly)

Thank you for showing how desperate our situtation was for Katrina.I also lost a loved one during this ordeal. I pray my 4yr. old grandson never has to experience anything like this again in his lifetime.It felt like we were at war and treated like no human being should ever be treated.No matter black,white,rich,poor. We all suffered! Its hard for a lot of us to comprehend the fast response for 911 and why it took so long forus to recieve aid. A lot of lives were also lost.I hope you will do a story now still 2yrs. later we are still waiting for our calvary to come, living in Fema trailers leaking, molding and full of formaldade waiting for ROAD HOME to rescue us and help us to move back into our home.This will show the world that a lot of us will probably never say "My life is back to normal". Everyday is a waiting game hoping someone will call and say-guess what,its your turn to maybe be approved for a Road Home grant.
