- Description
- Author Dr. Charlotte Laws discusses the ballot initiative she wrote called The Intolerant Jackass Act, which punishes anyone who brings forth an initiative that suggests the killing of gays or lesbians. Laws proposed this in response to the Sodomite Suppression Act (SSA). The SSA was drafted by a Southern CA attorney and calls for shooting gays in the head. Charlotte Laws is interviewed about her proposal on "Which Way, LA?" on KCRW on March 23, 2015 by Warren Olney. Other guests include Joe Matthews and Kim Alexander. Laws' proposal requires that intolerant jackasses (like McLaughlin) get sensitivity training and make a hefty donation to the LGBT community.
