A young woman with a history of mental illness sees 4 bright blue and white UFO's while standing on a cliff on the coast of Maine. Lisa Forman waits for the return of the blinding lights, which spiral around her at incredible speeds. Ready for the strange visitors, she films them and produces evidence that Project Blue Book considers to be real. But, Lisa's sighting is refuted by both her husband and her psychiatrist, despite the film, and matters are complicated when her daughter, Amy, has a unique UFO sighting of her own.
