- Description
- Starting from Navicat Data Modeler 2.0, you can use our Navicat Cloud service to synchronize models and virtual group information with different machines and platforms. You can access them anytime and anywhere. You will need a Navicat ID to use this service. It is the email you use to login to Navicat Customer Center. If you do not have a Navicat ID, you can create a new one. Click “Create Navicat ID” and enter the required information. Then, click “Sign Up”. A verification email will send to your email address. In this tutorial, I will show you how to synchronize model files between different platforms. Part 2 Windows First, on the Windows version, log into Navicat Cloud. Click "Open Model" to open the Navicat Cloud window. In this window, choose your project and you can see all synchronized models and virtual groups, and also the cloud usage information. After that, create a new model using the "Import from Database" feature. Follow each step in the wizard. When you’re finished, select "Save to Navicat Cloud" from the "File" menu to save this model to Navicat Cloud. Part 3 Mac Then, switch to Mac version and log into Navicat Cloud with the same Navicat ID. Click "Open Cloud" to open the Navicat Cloud window. Choose your project. You can see the model file that you just synchronized to cloud. Open the model. And now, we can continue to work on it.
