- Over a million people in Sub-Saharan Africa homeless 2007-09-21 Since August of this year floods continue to ravage Sub-Saharan Africa. Eighteen countries have been affected. In Uganda alone there are reportedly three hundred thousand homeless and forty-seven people dead.
