- http://www.braininjuryqc.com/brain-spinal-cord-injury-solicitors.html It can be a real challenge finding the right brain injury or spinal cord damage compensation claim solicitor. Although lots of lawyers say that they are skilled with all damage and injury claims, this is often not the reality. When finding out how to choose a brain injury solicitor therefore, it is critical that you only hire a lawyer (solicitor and barrister) with established and proven experience and success in this area of personal injury law. As well as being knowledgeable and practiced, the spinal cord or brain damage solicitor must be someone you feel comfortable with, like and trust. Ideally of course, they should be passionate about helping you, and be naturally caring and resolved to fight your corner to you the maximum claim compensation pay-out for the negligence that led to the injury. One of the most important issues to establish is whether the solicitor or the solicitor's law firm will take some of your compensation claim pay-out to cover their their legal fees. In the UK, the regulations only allow them to take up to a maximum of 25% of the won claim. If they were to take full advantage of this, a full quarter of your hard-won compensation would go to them. However, many brain injury and spinal cord damaga solicitors will respect and understand this, and so will not do this. It is essential that you discuss this matter before hiring them.
