I am an Artist (That's me five years ago) and a Goldsmith... A Gourmet Cook… A Sommelier…. I have a Green Thumb….. I am ambidextrous, I am also blessed with extreme endurance, and a slow hand with a soft touch . I am 6' 2", 235 lbs., hazel eyes, my hair is graying and so is the mustache, I have a 35" waist, and wear 10 1/2 EE shoes. About me: Well... from my own personal experience in life… .. .I feel that the free development of being an individual is one of the leading essentials of our true search of well being. To me this is not only a basic element with which all that is designated by the terms of ones culture, education and personal life experience is itself a necessary part and condition of, but that all the things we should strive for should be based on becoming an individual true to ourselves. Just the thoughts and undervalued emotions that are kept stored within ourselves, never to be felt or heard or even see the day of light for fear that someone may think that we ourselves may be thinking too far outside of the box or that the adjustments of the boundaries between personal needs and social acceptance would present us with an extraordinarily difficulty choice of being true to ourselves or to the baseness that individual spontaneity is recognized as, is more that adequate to suppress individual growth in almost everyone I ever met. I see that the common mode of thinking, "that I myself have an intrinsic worth, or that my thoughts deserve serious regard on its own account" is beyond the understanding of most people. A person that says they are satisfied with life as is comes is hollow. These people we deal with, work with or just walk past on a day to day basis, cannot comprehend why the way life is to them should not be good enough for everybody. They can not even see that it is they who make themselves what they are. Being satisfied with life as they find it as a group a unit of society, right now in time, is the only way they can survive. Moreover, spontaneity forms no part of their conception of life. Of the majority of these so-called moral and socially responsible sheep live life just as it is. They can not be reformed. The do not want to be reformed. Most don't even realize where they are coming from or what that are going towards in life. To them we (I probably should not drag you into my theory of life here, no matter how much I think you may also fit into it) again to them we are beyond reformer. To be looked on with fear and even some jealousy, as a troublesome and perhaps rebellious obstruction to the general acceptance of what they think all people should be like. In their own judgment, most if not all people think that they and their offspring would represent the best of what mankind has to offer. Individuality, being special, being unique, being yourself, being true to yourself because you are aware of your difference is the direct path to ones well being and continued growth in awareness till the day you die. Satisfaction of life should never be attained. If you are, then you have lost sight of you goal to always grow. There is no level of cowardice lower than that of a conformist Living life feels like falling backwards off a cliff into the unknown. The reasonable man adapts himself to the world; the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man. * There should be no subject about which you cannot make jokes. * Remember that you were born modest, but it wore off. * Never be satisfied with yourself, but like yourself and be happy…life is to short. gw
