ure wrong kakashi admits in that battle that he cant handle itachis MS because of no blood line but he tries to anways to protect asuma and kureni, kakashin MS has a different power than itachis MS so saying is MS could cancel out Itachis is false info, itachi creates illisions kakashi teleports things, its all about the bloodline and thats been said pleanty of times
