Hi there! I left you a comment about what you should watch on Shuffle, ep. 10, but I'll reommend some really good ones, because I wish someone had done that for me when I was new and had only ever seen Sailor Moon. If you like Shuffle, try Da Capo, Gift -Eternal Rainbow, and Love Hina. If you like more romantic stuff, definitely try Romeo x Juliet. My personal favorite is Ouran High School Host Club (it is hilarious and one of the most popular animes in the romantic comedy genre), and I also really liked Pretear (even though it's only 13 episodes) and Princess Tutu (very cute story, it's really popular also).
