Futurama, The Simpsons (both by Mat Groening, so no surprise), Dr. Who (the lastest two doctors, only because I have not seen any of the older series yet), more to be added later.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail, WALL-E, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, . . .almost anything comedic, but not too vulgar, anime, so long as it follows the previous guideline.

Most types of music. Not country, rap, or hip-hop, although as one can expect, there are one or two exceptions to that generalization in each category.
