I do a number of things. For example, I've written several novels, all of which are illustrated. They include Ilat, Najmah's Gifts to Dousares, and Cyborgs and Greens. I've spent time in several foreign countries. For example, I was in Turkey for a year. That was a military tour of duty while I was in the Air Force. It was from July of 1981 to July of 1982. As a civilian, I worked as an English teacher in Korea and Saudi Arabia.

Pop, Hip Hop, and some country music. I also listen to some classical music once in a while, for example, Strauss and Tchaikovsky. My favorite singers include Mariah Carey, Natalie Imbruglia, and Shania Twain.
