What do you smexy people think of my lovely assistants on my page: Eruka (blue-haired witch) and Hatsune (green-haired...wait, you don't know who she is? You're missing out!)? The code I used to keep an image on the page at all times is Veoh Shadow, which you can see in my code. Use the web address below to look at my CSS and see the exact code for yourself, its in my CSS. You can switch out anyone's name with mine to see their CSS too (a great way to save images you can't save from the page or figure out new codes).
I remember when I figured that out I felt like I hit a gold mine since it would allow me to understand Veoh's CSS more. A drawback doing it in Internet Explorer is that it opens it up with the default application you use to edit CSS whereas in Firefox it is viewed within the browser. Right now though I've been using a Firefox add on called Firebug. The neat thing you can also do in Firebug is that it allows you to "edit" your layout in real time without actually saving your code to Veoh. Doing this allows you to preview a layout to see if you actually like it. Of course you have to remember to copy the code to a safe place before closing Firefox, refreshing the page, or going to a different web page because it won't save your changes. It's pretty cool. Internet Explorer 8 beta has similar tools that allow you view someone's CSS. I'm not sure if it allows you to "edit" your code in real time like Firebug does though.
