Dude, that be a long list XD

Was that a list??? i thought it was some kind of virus that attached ***St**a*r**s** to the names of anime shows!! :) I like a mix of stuff so i can't narrow it down to any particular genre. I first got into anime because i like the art and animation and was sick of standard holliwood films and western production values (ie in a film if someone swears at their dad or kicks a dog they will inevitably end up dead or reforming their ways). I did however find that after watching a certain amount of anime that a similar set of rules existed, just they are different rules. Of late one of the best things i have seen is Kurozuka. As it is makes a nice break from the standard "good guy gets power - meets bad guy with more power - good guy gets power - beats bad guy - good guy meets bad guy with more power etc etc etc". Most anime is built on this cold war - arms race type powering up, but if it can do it in a way that keeps me guessing and then surprises me, I'm a sucker and will just keep watching!!

Dude I can't agree more! Yah I'm not a big fan of western style cartoons either, most of them are lacking a good plot. Nowadays I almost never watch TV
